Pediatric Speech and Language Therapy
Karyn Jones, CCC-SLPD, is the owner and founder of Sweet Home Speech and Language Pathology Center. She has over a decade of experience as a Speech and Language Pathologist working with children and their families. Dr. Jones has worked in both public and non-public schools, serving children ages 3 months through 21 years old. Most of her experiences, however, have been with preschool and elementary school-aged children. Dr. Jones is most passionate about early intervention and neurodiversity affirming practices. She believes in client-centered therapy and evidenced-based practices. Collaborating with families to develop individualized therapy goals that target clients' unique needs is at the forefront of her practice. Dr. Jones strives to create a welcoming environment where her clients and their families feel safe and comfortable.
Dr. Jones earned her Speech Language Pathology Doctorate, a clinical doctorate degree, from Rocky Mountain University of Healthcare Professions in 2024, and her Masters of Science from Washington State University in 2013. She is also an alumnus of California State University, Long Beach, with her Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies and a Concentration in Child Development. Her early work experiences also included caring for and working with young children.
Outside of work, Dr. Jones enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, whether that be in the pool, at a park, or anywhere else their adventures take them!
