Individual Therapy
Individual therapy sessions are rooted in play-based learning by following the child’s lead and using engaging and meaningful activities to build connection and communication. Sessions are uniquely tailored to fit the needs of the child and their family. Parent/Caregiver involvement and communication will be personalized to each client’s unique needs.
Session lengths offered include 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or 60 minutes. Session length recommendations will depend on your child’s age, area(s) of need, and family preferences.
Services are currently provided in the comfort of your own home. Alternatively, a community-based location may be available on an as-needed basis. Clinic-based services are coming soon.
Comprehensive Speech & Language Evaluations
To best understand your child’s current communication and develop a path forward for treatment, a comprehensive evaluation may be recommended. This process includes a combination of formal assessment measures, play-based observations, and parent/caregiver interviews. A comprehensive report and follow up meeting (via phone, telehealth, or in person) will be provided to review results, answer questions, and discuss recommendations.
If you have a recent speech and language evaluation from an outside agency (e.g., Regional Center, Insurance, School District, etc.), a full evaluation may not be needed. Contact us to discuss any questions or concerns.
Parent & Caregiver Coaching and Collaboration
This service is for parents/caregivers who are looking for personalized strategies, information, and recommendations regarding supporting their child with communication differences. Choose from in-home or virtual meeting locations, with in-clinic options to come in the future. Each session is 45-minutes and specifically designed to meet your family’s needs. This service is available to anyone looking for support - your child does NOT need to be receiving services from Sweet Home Speech to access this service. Pricing
Sweet Home Speech & Language Pathology Center is an out of network private pay provider. This model allows for flexibility and creative solutions when providing services to you and your family that insurance may otherwise affect such as requiring prior authorizations, demonstrating a medical necessity, and limiting the number of approved sessions. Currently, we do not accept insurance, however Superbills can be provided upon request for families wishing to use out of network reimbursement benefits through their insurance company. Each family is responsible for contacting their insurance company to see if this benefit applies to their plan. Please contact us for our current rates.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” that explains how much your medical care is expected to cost. Under this law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
